DAY 3

Travel from Kings Creek Station to Alice Springs

(Approx. 3.5 hours / 291 kms)

This morning see the sunrise and walk around the Canyon rim to take in magnificent views of the weathered, buttressed domes of The Lost City and the sheltered lush valley below in the Garden of Eden. Watch as the local wildlife wakes for the day and keep an eye out for dromedary camels, kangaroos, brumbies, wedge-tailed eagles and colourful parrots.

Finish up your Red Centre adventure with a 3.5 hour drive through the beautiful outback as you return to Alice Springs.

DAY 1

Travel from Alice Springs to Erldunda Roadhouse

(Approx. 2 hours / 200kms)

This morning depart Alice Springs and head to Erldunda Roadhouse. Upon arrival choose from one of the many on-site activities:

• Enjoy a refreshing dip in our on-site swimming pool
• Curb your hunger at our bar and restaurant. If you're feeling brave, tackle the famous
• Outback Stack!
• This evening watch the sunset over the outback from our Viewing Platform.

DAY 2

Travel from Erldunda Roadhouse to Kings Creek Station

(Approx. 2.5 hours / 236kms)

This morning don't forget to take a photo in the centre of the centre of Australia before you head off. Travel west along the Lasseter Hwy, before turning onto Luritja Rd/State Route 3, don't miss a great photo opportunity at the Red Centre Way historical landmark. You’ll get a true sense of the remoteness of outback Australia as you arrive at Kings Creek Station.

Enjoy an afternoon exploring the station, maybe go for a bike ride to travel further afield; this cattle and camel station covers 1,800 square kilometres. Alternatively relax in the café with a good book. This evening warm up by the bonfire and tuck into some tasty s'mores (marshmallow melted into biscuits), whilst taking in the stunning starlit sky.

DAY 2

Travel from Erldunda Roadhouse to Uluru

(Approx. 3 hours / 268kms)

Upon arriving into Uluru, check into your accommodation and drive straight out to Uluru–Kata Tjuta National Park to witness Uluru up close. The best walk at the site is the 7.4 kilometre Valley of the Winds trail; this loop is challenging but rewarding. For a shorter stroll, choose the 2km return journey Mala Walk; one of the most prominent and popular walks, perfect for walkers of all levels. Late this afternoon, make sure you head straight to the Uluru Sunset Spot for the best sunset views in Australia!

This morning you’ll end your Red Centre adventure with a 3.5 hour drive through the beautiful outback as you return to Alice Springs. Please note this route will be along an unsealed road only suitable for 4WD. Alternatively, you can make your way back to Alice Springs via a lunch stop at Erldunda Roadhouse.

Alternatively, relax in the café with a good book. This evening warm up by the bonfire and tuck into some tasty s'mores (marshmallow melted into biscuits), whilst taking in the stunning starlit sky.
